Turan De'Angelo Rush is the founding Chief Operations Officer of the Midian Leadership Project. He was a captain of the football team at Eastern Michigan University, where he graduated in 2021, holds a master's degree in Sports Science from West Virginia State University, and is currently pursuing his Pd.D in Sports Psychology from Kairos University, where his research focuses on sports and trauma-healing.
Turan is head coach of the Capital High School Cougar Football team, where he once won a state championship as a student, and an evangelist at New Hope Community Church in Charleston. A frequent speaker at community and national events, Turan is passionate about education equity, criminal justice reform, and empowering the next generation to lead with courage.

Tyrell Lucas is the Chief Technical Officer of the Midian Leadership Project, overseeing technical and media aspects of Midian's programming, research, and facilities. Tyrell was the driving force behind the acquisition and renovation of the Midian Safe Haven Community Center, transforming a once-derelict industrial block into a hub of community transformation. He currently coordinates Midian's young adult programming and coaches golf.
Tyrell is pursuing seminary studies at Kairos University. His community work has a special focus on microenterprise, and conflict resolution.

Collin Pierce is the Midian Leadership Project's Chief Development Officer, coordinating programming and research grants and connecting with community organizations. A graduate of West Virginia University's John Chambers College of Business and Economics, he is a small business owner who mentors youth and young adults in entrepreneurship skills.
Collin is pursuing seminary studies at Palmer Theological Seminary. He is a football coach at West Side Middle School, and hosts frequent youth events at the Midian Safe Haven.

Henry Houchins is the Academic Program Specialist for the Midian Leadership Project. He played defensive back for the West Virginia State Yellowjackets, where he earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in Sports Science.
He heads up Midian's "Heart, Mind, Soul, Strength" club, coordinating weekend club meetings and year-round enrichment experiences. Henry is a strength and conditioning coach and the defensive coordinator for the Capital High School Football team. His research interests develop the connections between kinesthetic learning and moral formation within educational psychology.

Calvin Wilder is Midian's Community Peacebuilding Coordinator. He played basketball for Simmons College of Kentucky, where he majored in cross-cultural communications.
Calvin coaches basketball at all levels, and also works with the Capital High School football team. His community work promotes violence reduction and restorative outcomes for at-risk youth and those impacted by the criminal justice system.
